Educational qualification

• Completed bachelors of engineering in information technology from NMAM institute of technology , Nitte, Karnataka, India
• Acquired  Masters in Communications from Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal, India
• Currently pursuing Masters in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, US

As a dancer :

• Have been trained in Bharathanatyam and Mohinyattom for more than 18 years
• Have been trained in Kuchipudi for 10 years
• Trained in kathak for 2 years
• Completed a couple of sessions in Hip hop and modern dances
• Attended several workshops on various Indian state dance forms
• Performed several stage shows for eastern and western dances in state and national levels in India.

Extra cirricular

• Been an integral part of Spic Macay ,India
• Served as the cultural secretary of the University of Manipal,India
• Presented Lecture Demonstrations in Mohiniyattom and “Dance as an art” form as a part of spreading cultural awareness in youth of India
• Performed two dance dramas-

• Kalidasa’s poetry-Malavika Agnimitra    
• Kambaramayana’s extract-Ravanaputri
• Neeli - A folktale in Malayalam

• Performed for different cultural events held in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego

Guru(s)

• Was trained under Kalamandalam Sreedevi Sreenivasan for Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattom and Kuchipudi.
• Later joined as a disciple of Kalamandalam Kshemavathy,who is a research scholar in Mohiniyattom
• Two years training in kathak from Mrs Kinnari Tholiya

Documentation

• Completed a thesis on dance as a form of communication: a comparative study of Kathak and Bharathanatyam in the year 2006-2007
